Admissions

Each client that comes to Clearview Recovery Center begins with an assessment in our Administration Office. A potential client is given information about Clearview and asked to complete a pre-registration worksheet. This worksheet gives our residential coordinator basic information about the client. Upon completion, the worksheet is given to the coordinator who then interviews the potential client to determine the level of care that is needed. Information about the client's current drug use, legal history and family history is discussed. Because we are a residential facility, it is crucial that each potential client is both physically and psychologically stable before they are admitted. The three most important conserations are if the client is ambulatory, whether or not they are stabilized on psychotropic medications, and their need for medical detoxification. Clearview presently has contracts with hospitals statewide to provide detoxification services.

After the assessment in completeed and the client is deemed appropriate for this level of care, financial arrangements are made in the business office. The sources of funding include self-pay, insurance, EAP's, Managed Care contracts, The Veterans Administration, and the Federal Department of Corrections.
